This course is the most comprehensive knowledge and skills-based yacht course on the market. It is guaranteed to allow you entry to more than 55 international ports of call throughout the Mediterranean & the world.
When you complete the Skipper Large Powerboat Program, you will receive an SLC International Yacht Charter Certification and License, which is accepted throughout Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Seychelles.
Skipper Large Powerboat Certificate International License up to 64’ (SLC)-A Globally Recognized Achievement
- For the SLC, the required online courses include:
- Skipper Large Powerboat Course
- Coastal Navigation Course
- Electronic Navigation Course
- Bareboat Charter Course
- For the On-water Skill Based Training:
- The student must achieve the Large Powerboat Skipper course and assessment.
- The student must achieve Powerboat Coastal Navigation.
- The student must achieve the On-water Bareboat Charter Supplement Course through SaferBoater, including Mediterranean Mooring and other relevant International Voyage Planning objectives.

- Must list sufficient experience in our electronic logbook, including the requirement of 50 days of experience boating (at least 25 as master of the vessel). Previous experience, if documented, is acceptable.

- Skipper Large Boat Verified Practical Competence
- EDU-1 under American National Standards
- SPC - International License and Certificate issued through the Authority of NauticEd.
