Captain Qualifications
SaferBoater Captains MUST:
- 10+ Years Boating Experience
- 3 Years of Experience Training Others
- Be patient and good with Kids
- Ocean & Lake Captains
- Maintain a valid USCG Captains License (50T+ preferred)
- Have a 100-Ton USCG license to operate yachts (27 - 100+')
SaferBoater Captains Should :
- Have access to a Boat 18-26' to offer our public small boat programs
- Be Professional and Courteous
- Have the ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Available 1-2 weekends per month - small boats
- Available 1 -2 weeks a month for yachts
