Gold Card Certified Providers

The Gold Card program relies on NASBLA-Certified providers to deliver both approved written courses and exams and on-water skills training and evaluations.

If you are already an approved provider in at least one state, or have interested in becoming a certified gold card course provider, please fill out the form below and we will be in touch with next steps.

Instructor Requirements

Gold Card Instructors MUST:

Have 3+ Years of Experience Training Others
Be patient and good with Kids
Ocean & Lake Captains
Maintain a valid USCG Captains License (50+ Ton preferred)
Pass and maintain a valid NASBLA-approved On-Water Instructor Course Certification
Meet Liability Insurance Requirements

Gold Card Instructors SHOULD:

Own a Boat 18-26 Feet if they want to offer public courses for our small boat programs
Available 7-10 days per month
