Powerboats up to 25 Feet
The SaferBoater Skipper Program for Small Powerboats is your complete, one-stop Driver's Education course for boats (typically up to 25 feet) with standard equipment. By taking this 3-in-1 training, you will learn the basic skills to confidently and safely maneuver a vessel in crowded waterways to reduce your risk of collision or accidents.
Successful completion of the program qualifies you for discounted boat insurance with a SaferBoater Insurance Partner.
SaferBoater 3-in-1 On-water Training
This program is comprised of three comprehensive, hands-on skill-building sessions that can be completed on your schedule:
4 hours | SaferBoater 'Driver's Education' Boating Fundamentals
This rigorous SaferBoater 42 item fundamental on-water skills session is designed for first time boaters and anyone who wishes to navigate their waters competently and confidently.
3 hours | Open Water Maneuvering Fundamentals
In this session you'll get a thrilling experience that will develop your boat handling skills by recognizing plowing, coming onto plane, steering, turning and stopping with several crucial techniques and maneuvers.
3 Hours | Docking with Confidence
Docking with Confidence will show you how to expertly depart and return to a dock or boat slip. Gain the confidence in docking techniques that will impress even the seasoned captains.
